Job summary

Gourmet Foods International is seeking experienced CDL Class A drivers in the United States. You will operate modern late-model trucks on dedicated routes with on-site maintenance support and family-owned values.

Earn up to $85,000 per year with guaranteed minimums, plus monthly safety bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, 401K match, profit sharing, and generous paid time off. This role requires reliability and adherence to DOT/FMCSA rules.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A driving experience (minimum 1 year).
• TWIC card required.
• Refrigeration experience preferred.

• Push/pull up to 75 lbs.
• Pre-employment drug screen and background check required.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-trip duties: check route/account numbers, inspect vehicle per DOT/FMCSA.
• Drive to deliver orders following DOT/FMCSA and GFI procedures.
• Maintain load temperatures per specifications.
• Unload products and place in designated customer storage areas.
• Verify delivery with customers, collect payments when required, and report discrepancies.

Responsibilities And Duties

• Performing all pre-trip responsibilities, including checking route numbers and account numbers for assigned deliveries, counting items and checking customer invoices of products that have been loaded, and performing the "pre-trip safety check" inspection of truck and trailer according to DOT/FMCSA regulations.
• Driving to and delivering customer orders following all DOT/FMCSA, state regulations, and GFI procedures and protocols
• Maintaining load temperatures according to load specifications
• Unloading products from the trailer with a hand truck or by hand and placing them in designated customer storage areas.
• Verifying delivery of items with customers and obtaining proper signatures; collecting money (cash or checks) when required; contacting management for authorization when discrepancies on the invoice and communicating all errors/returns.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum age of 21.
• Valid CDL License (Class A or B, depending on route requirements).
• TWIC card required.
• Refrigeration experience required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Push/pull up to 75 lbs.
• Ascend and descend a step up to 17 inches from the floor.
• Climb up and down 3 rungs of a ladder, with the first rung at 21 inches from the ground.
• Consistent, regular attendance and punctuality are essential functions of this position. Employees must be able to work scheduled shifts, including overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed to support business and operational needs.
