Job summary

ABF Freight, an ArcBest company, is seeking a driver/dork handler for cargo pickup and delivery in the Anaheim, CA area. Responsibilities include loading and unloading, operating a forklift, and completing routine paperwork. The role requires a Class-A CDL with doubles/triples and HazMat endorsements, plus DOT-mandated pre-employment measures.

Schedule may include days, nights, and weekends. Wages follow Teamster Union Scale with overtime after 8 hours, plus comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of verifiable tractor/trailer experience recommended; training possible for less than 1 year.
• Class-A CDL with doubles/triples, tanker and hazmat endorsements required.

Responsibilities

• Complete routine paperwork and log loading sheets accurately.
• Optimize time and resources while complying with weight distribution laws.
• Operate a forklift as needed and load/unload cargo.
• Perform trailer checks, tractor setup, and cargo pickup/delivery.
• Fulfill other duties as assigned.
