Job summary

ABF Freight, an ArcBest company, is seeking a full-time driver for Minnesota terminals. The role involves pickup and delivery of cargo, dock loading/unloading, and adherence to DOT regulations. Compensation is hourly with overtime after 8 hours and union-scale wages.

Responsibilities include routine paperwork, log loading sheets, trailer setup, forklift operation when needed, and safe cargo handling. Candidates must meet CDL requirements and have a clean MVR.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year of verifiable tractor/trailer experience is required; training may be available.
• Class-A CDL with doubles/triples, tanker and hazmat endorsements are required.

Responsibilities

• Complete routine paperwork and log loading sheets accurately.
• Exercise judgment in building/tearing down trailers to optimize time and resources while following weight laws.
• Operate a forklift as needed.
• Load and unload cargo and perform check-in and tractor/trailer inspections.
• Travel required: minimal (0%–25%).
• Other duties as assigned.
