Red Hawk Trucking is seeking CDL-A Truck Driver Trainee for a 100% no touch dry van with Friday pay. Train with a structured plan including a week of onboarding, a mentor program, and an upgrade to an OTR division after completing evaluations.

The program includes hotel paid, meal stipends, detention, layover and mileage incentives, plus potential tuition reimbursement and a 401k plan. You will start on 1.5 year old sleepers with home time on breaks.

Qualifications

• 21 years of age or older, valid Class A CDL
• CDL school graduation within the past 12 months
• No trucking company on your record after school
• At most 4 moving violations in 3 years
• No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
• DOT physical and urine drug test required

Responsibilities

• 100% no touch dry van
• About 70% drop and hook
• Our own customer freight, so you are not waiting on brokered loads
• Out 1 to 2 weeks, Monday through Saturday

Training Plan

• Week one: onboarding class with a skills evaluation and extra coaching where needed. Hotel paid, plus a $100 meal stipend


• Mentor time: 10 days minimum on the road, 5+ hours a day behind the wheel, $75 per day


• Final checks: backing evaluation, pre-trip inspection, road test


• Then: upgrade to your own truck and your OTR division


• Women train with female mentors


• 2,600 miles comes to about $1,300, 2,800 miles about $1,400


• 8 to 10 cents per mile weekly incentive for top drivers


• Paycheck every Friday, yearly raises


• Detention $15/hour after 2 hours, breakdown $100, layover $40

The Work

• 100% no touch dry van

• APU for comfort on your breaks, fridge, double bunk
