Job summary

Estes Express Lines seeks an experienced CDL-A truck driver to safely transport freight across routes in compliance with FMCSA regulations. You will perform pre-trip inspections, handle hazardous materials where required, and operate a range of equipment in various terrains.

The role requires a valid Class A license, Hazmat and Tanker endorsements, and the ability to pass a DOT medical exam and road test. Local travel and dock work may be part of the schedule.

Qualifications

• Must have valid Class A CDL and FMCSA licensing.
• 21 years of age or older with at least 1 year of driving experience.
• Hazmat, Tanker and Doubles endorsements required.
• Reside within 75 miles of the service center/work assignment.
• Able to pass a DOT medical examination and road test.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Operate all types of equipment to perform safety functions and drive tractor-trailer in compliance with FMCSA regulations.
• Maintain and secure freight, conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Complete paperwork, verify unit numbers, and report discrepancies.
• Use in-cab technology as required (eLogs, etc.).
• Interact with customers professionally and support dock operations as needed.
