Job summary

Estes Express Lines seeks a professional CDL Class A driver to operate tractor-trailer equipment across diverse routes, performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections and adhering to FMCSA regulations to ensure safe, on-time freight transport. HazMat endorsements may be required.

You will transport freight safely, maintain required records, use in-cab technology, and provide courteous service to customers while following safety standards and company policies. Must pass medical exam and road test.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent background.
• 21 years of age and at least 1 year driving experience.
• Valid Class A CDL and FMCSA Clearinghouse registration.
• HazMat, Tanker and Doubles endorsements required.
• Must reside within 75 miles of the domiciled Service Center.
• Must pass FMCSA medical exam and road test.
• Must be able to drive in all terrains and weather conditions.
• Forklift operation capability (7500 lb).
• Able to read and comply with safety rules and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor/trailer safely in accordance with FMCSA regulations.
• Maintain records as required by local, state and federal rules.
• Pre-trip and post-trip inspections for safe operation.
• Transport hazardous materials following safety guidelines.
• Use in-cab technology and electronic logs as needed.
• Provide professional and courteous service to customers.
