Job summary

Estes-Express-Lines is seeking qualified CDL-A drivers to safely operate tractor-trailers across diverse routes. You will perform pre-trip inspections, maintain freight security, and ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations while delivering cargo efficiently.

Qualified candidates possess HazMat/tanker endorsements and meet experience requirements. This full-time role requires the ability to work various schedules and to pass a medical exam and background check.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class A CDL and be FMCSA compliant.
• HazMat, Tanker and Doubles endorsements required.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Must reside within 75 miles of the Service Center/work assignment.

Responsibilities

• Operate all types of equipment safety, including manual transmissions and tire chaining.
• Safely drive tractor/trailer to transport freight in compliance with FMCSA laws.
• Maintain required records and follow hazardous materials handling rules.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report maintenance issues.
• Load/unload freight per dock requirements and assist as needed.
