Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• 21 years of age and 1 year driving experience.
• Valid Class A CDL and Hazmat/Tanker endorsements.
• FMCSA Clearinghouse registration and compliance.
• Reside within 75 miles of the service center/work assignment.
• Ability to pass FMCSA medical exam and road test.
• Able to lift 70 lbs and operate forklift up to 7,500 lb.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor/trailer safely to transport freight in compliance with laws.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs.
• Adhere to FMCSA rules, DOT regulations, and company policies.
• Record-keeping for compliance and safety; manage hazardous materials when required.
• Coordinate local, regional, and over-the-road runs; load/unload as needed.
• Maintain security of equipment and cargo; provide courteous service to customers.
