Job summary

Estes Express Lines is seeking a professional driver to operate tractor-trailers across diverse routes, adhering to FMCSA regulations and performing pre/post trip inspections. You will safely transport freight while maintaining records and following safety procedures.

The role requires a valid Class A CDL, Hazmat/Tanker endorsements preferred, and the ability to meet physical requirements and pass medical and road tests. Flexible schedules may apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED.
• Must be 21+ years old and have 1 year driving experience.
• Valid Class A CDL required.
• FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse registration.
• Must reside within 75 miles of service center/work assignment.
• Hazmat, Tanker and Doubles endorsements preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor/trailer to haul freight in compliance with FMCSA regulations and company policies.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain required records and meet regulatory requirements.
• Handle loading/unloading at dock or customer sites as needed.
• Stay compliant with safety programs and communicate issues to supervision.
