Job summary

FedEx Freight, Inc. is seeking a CDL driver role in Bangor, ME. You will operate tractor-trailers, perform safety inspections, and manage dock duties as part of daily freight movement.

This position requires a Class A CDL or CLP, strong safety record, and ability to lift up to 100 pounds. You’ll work with dispatch, handle freight securely, and contribute to customer service at the loading dock.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Class A CDL or a Commercial Learning Permit (CLP).
• Must have an acceptable MVR based on hiring standards.
• Must meet DOT regulatory requirements under 49 CFR 391.
• Ability to count and perform basic math, with or without a calculator.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 100 pounds repeatedly and safely.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor-trailer (including doubles/straight trucks).
• Perform pre/post/inter-trip safety inspections.
