Job summary

Qualifications

• Must possess a Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) prior to entering job classification.
• Must possess acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) based on hiring standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor-trailer, including doubles and/or straight trucks.
• Perform pre-trip, post-trip, and inter-trip safety inspections.
• Hook/unhook trailers and converter dollies.
• Maintain accurate daily logs and complete required reports.
• Communicate with Dispatch regarding delays, arrivals, or equipment issues.
• Comply with hazmat regulations and placarding as required.
• Perform freight handling and, when needed, city driver duties.
• Operate equipment like forklift, pallet jack, and hand truck when required.
