Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking a CDL-A Driver to deliver food and related products. You will operate tractor-trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes, adhering to DOT regulations and safety standards.

Build relationships with customers while ensuring timely, accurate deliveries. The role requires a valid license, 21+ years old, ability to lift 60–90 pounds, and successful DOT and drug testing.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Meets MVR requirements for the past 3 years.
• Pass pre-employment drug test.
• Pass road test.
• Able to secure a DOT Medical Card.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety checks (pre/post trip) on tractor/trailer and trailer per DOT regulations.
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety policies; report hazards.
• Inspect and secure freight; verify invoices and paperwork.
• Unload damaged goods and returns; complete end-of-shift paperwork.
