Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a CDL-A Driver to deliver food and related products to customers. You will drive tractor-trailer or straight truck on intrastate/interstate routes, follow DOT regulations, and provide top-tier service by ensuring products arrive on time and in good condition.

The role requires 12+ months of driving experience, a clean MVR, and rigorous safety checks. Schedule typically Monday–Friday with some overnight or layover routes; pay starts at $90,000 yearly with

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 12+ months commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL-A license required.
• Must be 21+ years of age.
• Meet all state licensing/certification requirements where applicable.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Pass road test.
• DOT Health Card current or able to secure one.
• Able to lift and move freight up to 60–90 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with customers, vendors and coworkers professionally.
• Perform safety checks (pre/post trip) per DOT regulations.
• Inspects tractor/trailer to meet safety standards.
• Deliver and unload food products per route schedule.
• Verify deliveries with customers and obtain signatures.
• Complete required freight paperwork accurately.
• Maintain daily hours of service records as per regulations.
• Perform general housekeeping around yard and loading dock.
