Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking a delivery driver to ensure the timely and safe transport of food products to customers. You will operate tractor-trailers and straight trucks on intrastate and interstate routes, perform safety inspections, and unload goods while maintaining professional customer relations.

The role requires a CDL A, a minimum of 12 months driving experience, and adherence to DOT regulations.

Qualifications

• 12 months commercial driving experience.
• High school diploma/GED or state approved equivalent.
• Valid CDL A.
• Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements.
• Must be 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Performs pre/post trip safety checks and DOT-compliant inspections.
• Drives tractor-trailer/straight truck on various routes to deliver and unload food products.
• Verifies deliveries with customers and collects signatures and payments when required.
• Loads/unloads freight and secures cargo; maintains trailer and equipment.
• Completes required paperwork and daily hours-of-service logs.
