Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking CDL-A Delivery Drivers to join our team. The role involves transporting food and related items via tractor trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes, with a focus on safety, timeliness, and customer service.

During training, drivers earn guaranteed $1,500 per week. After training, drivers average around $100,000 annually. A sign-on bonus of up to $10,000 is available based on experience, with competitive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 12+ months commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL-A license.
• Must be 21+ years of age.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pass post-offer drug test and road test.
• DOT Health Card current or able to secure one.

Responsibilities

• Communicates professionally with customers, vendors and co-workers.
• Perform safety checks and DOT inspections.
• Deliver and unload food products on predetermined routes.
• Verify deliveries, obtain customer signatures and handle payments where required.
• Maintain daily log of hours of service as per DOT requirements.
