Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a CDL-A Driver to deliver food and related products. You will drive tractor trailers or straight trucks on intrastate and interstate routes, ensuring on-time delivery and safe operations per DOT rules.

Responsibilities include pre/post trip inspections, loading/unloading, securing freight, obtaining signatures, and maintaining accurate delivery documentation. Must be 21+, with a clean MVR and a current CDL-A license.

Qualifications

• 12+ months commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL-A license required.
• Must be 21+ years of age.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
• DOT Health Card current or able to secure new card.

Responsibilities

• Interacts professionally with customers, vendors, and coworkers.
• Performs safety checks—pre/post trip inspections per DOT regulations.
• Complies with DOT regulations and company safety policies.
• Delivers orders using predetermined route schedule and secures loads.
• Obtains customer signatures and completes delivery paperwork.
• Loads and unloads freight and assists with returns as needed.
