Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a CDL-A driver to deliver food and related products across intrastate and interstate routes. The driver will operate tractor-trailer or straight truck, follow DOT regulations, and ensure timely, safe deliveries to customers.

The role offers Monday–Friday schedules with no overnights or weekends in many cases, comprehensive benefits from day one, and opportunities for stable growth within a nationwide food distribution network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid CDL-A license.
• Must be 21+ years of age.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.
• DOT Health Card valid or able to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Communicates and interacts with customers, vendors and co-workers professionally.
• Performs required safety checks (pre/post trip) per DOT regulations.
• Inspects tractor, trailer and safety equipment and reports hazards.
• Drives to deliver orders according to route schedule and may unload.
• Obtains customer signatures and handles payment as required.
• Ensures equipment, freight, and area are secured and organized.
• Completes daily hours of service logs per company and DOT rules.
• Fulfills other duties as assigned by management.
