Performance Foodservice is seeking a CDL-A delivery driver to serve customers across intrastate and interstate routes. You will operate tractor-trailer or straight truck, delivering and unloading food products to customers while upholding DOT safety standards and company policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 12+ months commercial driving experience required.
• Valid CDL-A license required.
• Must be 21+ years of age.
• Meet all state licensing/certification requirements where applicable.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pass post‑offer drug test and criminal background check; pass road test.
• DOT Health Card current or able to secure one.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with customers, vendors and co‑workers professionally and accurately.
• Perform safety checks (pre/post trip) and ensure tractor/trailer meet DOT safety standards.
• Report safety hazards and necessary repairs promptly.
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety policies at all times.
• Deliver and unload products to customers per route schedule and obtain signatures.
• Unload damaged goods and manage returns in accordance with company policy.
• Record daily hours of service and log per DOT/state requirements.
• Perform general housekeeping on equipment and loading area as required.
