Performance Foodservice seeks a CDL-A Driver with 6+ months of experience to deliver food and related products across intrastate and interstate routes. You’ll operate a tractor trailer or straight truck, meet DOT regulations, and uphold safety standards while serving customers.

Primary duties include route driving, loading/unloading, inspections, paperwork, and obtaining signatures. Pay starts after training at $1,050 weekly, with a comprehensive benefits package and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 6+ months commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL-A license.
• 21+ years of age and meet state requirements.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years and pass drug/background checks.
• DOT Health Card current or able to secure one.

Responsabilités

• Communicate professionally with customers, vendors and coworkers.
• Perform safety checks pre/post trip and ensure DOT compliance.
• Drive tractor trailer or straight truck across local and interstate routes.
• Deliver and unload orders, obtain customer signatures and complete paperwork.
• Maintain safe loading, unloading and securing of freight.
• Log hours of service and keep the yard and trailer clean and organized.
