Job summary

Sysco is seeking an Operations Supervisor for the Wilmington/Fitchburg MA yards. The CDL Class A Floater will supervise delivery staff, ensure safety compliance, and coordinate schedules to support efficient customer service.

Responsibilities include adherence to DOT/OSHA regulations, managing labor hours, and collaboration with Sales/Marketing to resolve delivery issues. This role requires strong leadership and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; related experience acceptable.
• 2- or 4-year college degree in Business Management or Supply Chain preferred.
• 1-3 years related experience and/or training.
• Complete a Sysco approved defensive driving program.
• HazMat certification preferred.
• Valid Class A CDL meeting Company standards preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises daily work and safety of Delivery Associates and adherence to SOPs.
• Ensures compliance with local, state and federal regulatory agencies (DOT, OSHA).
• Manages labor hours and consumables within budget.
• Prepares work schedules including extra work days and shifts.
• Oversees asset use and coordinates repairs with relevant departments.
• Reviews delivery functions and productivity reporting; suggests improvements.
