Job summary

Sysco Cincinnati, LLC is seeking a Transportation Supervisor to oversee delivery operations, ensuring safety, regulatory compliance, and efficient routing. You will manage delivery staff, schedule shifts, and monitor labor and materials within budget.

The role requires strong leadership, knowledge of DOT/OSHA regulations, and proficiency with spreadsheets and reporting tools. Willingness to work non-traditional hours and travel as needed is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; college degree preferred.
• 1–3 years related experience and/or training.
• Defensive driving training completed; HazMat certification preferred; Class A CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the daily work and safety of Delivery Associates.
• Ensures DOT/OSHA compliance and accurate electronic logs.
• Manages labor hours and consumable supplies within budget; schedules shifts.
• Oversees asset utilization and coordinates repairs with other departments.
• Communicates with Sales/Marketing to resolve customer or delivery issues.
• Visits customer locations to address issues and assess delivery difficulty.
