Performance Foodservice in Piscataway, NJ is seeking a CDL-A delivery driver to operate tractor-trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes, delivering and unloading food products safely and on time. You will be the face of the company, maintaining customer relationships and ensuring compliance with DOT regulations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6+ months commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL-A license.
• 21+ years of age.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pass post-offer drug test.
• Pass road test.
• DOT Health Card current or able to secure one.
• Ability to lift 10-90 pounds and handle equipment.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with customers, vendors and co-workers professionally.
• Performs safety checks (pre/post trip) per DOT regulations.
• Inspects tractor, trailer and equipment for safety.
• Follows DOT regulations and company safety policies.
• Delivers and unloads products to customers on schedule.
• Obtains customer signatures and handles required paperwork.
