Performance Foodservice is hiring a delivery driver to support food distribution operations. You will drive tractor trailers or straight trucks across intrastate and interstate routes, delivering and unloading food products with attention to safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• 12+ months commercial driving experience.
• High school diploma/GED or state approved equivalent.
• Valid CDL A license and DOT health card.
• Meet state licensing/certification requirements where applicable.
• Must be 21 years of age and have clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pass post-offer drug test, background check and road test.

Responsabilités

• Communicates with customers, vendors and coworkers professionally and timely.
• Safely operate tractor trailer or straight truck per DOT regulations.
• Perform pre/post trip inspections and report safety issues.
• Deliver and unload products to customer locations on schedule.
• Verify deliveries, obtain signatures and collect payments as required.
• Complete required paperwork accurately and maintain logs per regulations.
• Maintain equipment and trailer security and cleanliness.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support the team.
