Performance Food Group is hosting a Hiring Event for CDL-A Delivery Drivers in New Jersey. You will drive a tractor trailer or straight truck on intrastate routes and overnight or OTR deliveries to customers, ensuring goods arrive safely and on time.

Responsibilities

• Communicates professionally with customers, vendors and co-workers, ensuring questions are answered accurately and promptly.
• Drives tractor trailer or straight truck on intrastate/over-the-road routes and delivers orders on schedule.
• Performs required safety checks (pre/post trip) and DOT inspections; reports safety issues and required repairs.
• Verifies delivery with customers, obtains signatures, and completes related paperwork.
