FedEx Freight, Inc. is seeking a CDL A driver to pick up and deliver freight between service centers and customers in Colorado.

The role requires safety inspections, trailer operations, andcustomer-focused service to generate new business leads with dispatch coordination. The position demands a valid CDL A with hazmat/double/triple endorsements, one year of recent driving experience or completion of the FedEx Driver Development Course, and the ability to lift up to 100 pounds.

Formación

• Must possess a class A CDL with double/triple, hazmat and tank endorsements.
• One year experience within the most recent three years or completion of FedEx Freight Driver Development Course.
• Must possess acceptable MVR based on hiring standards.
• Must meet all DOT FMC regulations under 391.
• Long combination vehicles (LCV) knowledge in specified states.
• Ability to count and perform basic math, with or without a calculator.
• Basic written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds several times per week.
• Ability to sit for extended periods and climb in/out of truck.
• Ability to work independently and/or as part of a team.

Responsabilidades

• Operate tractor-trailer combinations including doubles/triples where permitted.
• Perform daily pre-trip and safety inspections on equipment.
• Hook/unhook trailers and converter dollies as needed.
• Handle freight using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
• Secure freight inside trailers with pallets, straps and rope.
• Recoup/repair damaged freight when necessary.
• Verify and document required reports and paperwork.
• Comply with hazardous materials regulations and procedures.
• Collect payments for freight charges when required and maintain documentation.
• Follow dispatch instructions and communicate delays or issues.
