Job summary

FedEx Freight is seeking a driver to pick up and deliver freight between service centers and customers, while supporting the selling process.

Responsibilities include operating tractor-trailer rigs, performing pre-trip inspections, securing freight, and coordinating with dispatch. Must hold a Class A CDL with hazmat/tank endorsements and meet DOT requirements. Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and work in varying conditions is required.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Class A CDL with double/triple, hazardous materials and tank endorsements.
• Must meet DOT regulatory requirements under FMC regulations.
• Must have acceptable MVR based on hiring standards.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 100 pounds repeatedly.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor-trailer or other trucks to pick up and deliver freight.
• Perform daily pre-trip and safety inspections of equipment.
• Secure freight inside trailers using pallets, straps, and rope.
• Communicate with dispatch and customers to coordinate pickups/deliveries.
