Job summary

EisnerAmper seeks a Consulting Manager – CDBG-DR in our Government Services Practice. The role targets professionals with a strong HUD CDBG-DR background, capable of leading teams, ensuring program compliance, and advancing disaster recovery initiatives.

Located near a local office or fully remote/hybrid options available for right candidates. You will oversee engagement scope, client deliverables, and compliance with Federal regulations while expanding services through business development

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy, Public Administration, or a related field is required.
• 5+ years of successful CDBG-DR grant management experience in a compliance or policy-related role, including 3+ years in a management or supervisory role.
• Strong policy background, including 2 CFR 200 and 24 CFR 570 compliance requirements, as well as applicable Federal Register Notices.

Responsibilities

• Supervise team members and conduct annual evaluations.
• Evaluate client needs and engagement scope; manage work activities and quality of deliverables.
• Maintain compliance with HUD regulations and guidance; research and interpret relevant regulations.
• Design and implement disaster recovery programs meeting eligibility requirements and National Objective.
• Draft and evaluate grantee Action Plan Amendments for CDBG-DR compliance.
• Develop policies and procedures aligned with regulations and grantee plans.
• Support strategic planning and track disaster recovery trends; identify growth opportunities.
• Participate in business development including conferences, thought leadership, and proposals.
