Job summary

Riverview Regional Medical Center, LLC in Gadsden, AL is seeking a Critical Care Unit RN (Days) to join our CCU/ICU team. You will provide highly specialized care to patients with life-threatening conditions, monitor patients, administer treatments, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal outcomes.

The role requires a valid RN license, BLS, ACLS within 30 days, and CCU/ICU experience. Sign-on bonus available; full benefits. Shift is Days, 7:00am–7:00pm.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• BLS (AHA) certification upon hire and maintained.
• ACLS certification required within 30 days of hire and maintained.
• CCRN certification preferred.
• BSN preferred.
• Critical Care Course preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice.
• Directs and guides patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care in the CCU.
• Responsible and accountable for the care given to his/her assigned patients.
• Communicates with the physician about changes in the patient’s clinical condition including hemodynamic monitoring, results of diagnostic studies and abnormal results and symptomatology.
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment. Maintains patient privacy and confidentiality.
