Job summary

Riverview Regional Medical Center, LLC in Gadsden, AL is seeking a Medical-Surgical RN for day shifts in the Acute 6T unit. This full-time role offers a sign-on bonus of $15,000 for qualified candidates.

Responsibilities include assessments, vital signs monitoring, medication administration, patient education, and coordinating with the healthcare team. Epic charting is used; new grads are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• ACLS certificate within 30 days of hire and maintain current (preferred).
• Acute care hospital experience preferred.
• Ventilator management experience preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial assessments and ongoing evaluations of patients' health.
• Monitor vital signs, intake/output, and other clinical indicators.
• Recognize and act on deterioration signs and respond promptly.
• S afely administer prescribed medications (oral, IV, subcutaneous, intramuscular).
• Liaise between patients, families, and the healthcare team to ensure needs are met.
• Provide patient education on condition, treatment options, and recovery.
• Communicate with doctors and therapists to adjust care plans.
• Epic computer charting.
• New grads welcome!
