Prime Healthcare in Gadsden, AL seeks a Progressive Care Registered Nurse (PCU RN) for night shifts at Riverview Regional Medical Center. The PCU RN delivers specialized monitoring and interventions for patients with acute/chronic conditions, ensuring smooth transitions toward lower levels of care.

The role requires an active RN license in Alabama, BLS on hire, ACLS preferred, and a BSN is a plus. A 20k sign-on bonus and full benefits are offered to eligible candidates, with a collaborative team

Formación

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• ACLS certificate within 30 days upon hire preferred.
• BSN degree preferred; acute care hospital experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct assessments of patients' conditions, including vital signs and overall stability, monitor changes, and respond to deterioration.
• Utilize telemetry and monitoring devices to track cardiac rhythms and vital parameters, interpreting abnormalities.
• Administer medications as directed, including IV meds, antibiotics, pain management, and cardiac meds, and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Perform nursing interventions and treatments as ordered, such as wound care, catheter care, suctioning, and oxygen therapy.
• Adhere to evidence-based guidelines, hospital policies, infection control, and safety protocols.
