Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Durham, NC is seeking an Estimator to produce accurate damage appraisals and coordinate repairs with customers and insurers. You will document interactions and guide customers through the repair process to ensure a smooth experience.

The ideal candidate has CCC1 Estimating System knowledge, OE guideline familiarity, and at least 1 year of estimating experience, plus a valid driver’s license and willingness to complete I-CAR training.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of CCC1 Estimating System and OE guidelines.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year estimating experience preferred.
• Willingness to complete I-CAR training and maintain licensing.

Responsibilities

• Document customer interactions accurately and update records.
• Provide customers with timely repair information and guidance.
• Ensure compliance with insurance DRP requirements and processes.
• Participate in production walks and collaborate with the management team.
• Assist in repair planning and communicate customer needs clearly.
