Job summary

Rogers Behavioral Health is seeking a Behavior Specialist to deliver Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to patients across residential, IOP, PHP and acute inpatient programs. You will design CBT treatment plans with the Clinical Services Manager and train staff while ensuring documentation and regulatory compliance.

The role requires completion of a CBT/DBT Academy within 90 days, strong communication skills, and collaboration in a multidisciplinary team to promote patient outcomes and adherence to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human services, psychology, social work or related field preferred.
• CBT or related therapy experience required within 12 months prior to hire/transfer.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Compliance with RCC and CBRF employee requirements.
• Complete CBT or DBT Academy within 90 days of hire/transfer.

Responsibilities

• Provide CBT and other therapeutic services to patients under supervision.
• Attend CBT Academy and training as directed by Clinical Services Manager/Director.
• Document treatment plans, psychosocial information and other patient data in the medical record.
• Participate in weekly supervision with Clinical Services Manager/Director.
• Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings and develop treatment plans.
• Assist in RIS projects and departmental improvements.
• Educate staff on CBT approaches for anxiety, mood, eating and trauma disorders.
• Adhere to Joint Commission and regulatory requirements and communicate with Utilization Review as needed.
