Job summary

Rogers Behavioral Health, Inc. is seeking a Behavior Specialist to support CBT-based interventions within its treatment programs. You will assess behavior function, develop individualized plans, and train patients and support persons on CBT strategies.

The role involves collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, monitoring progress, and adjusting plans to achieve optimal patient outcomes. A strong CBT background and relevant credential are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human services, psychology, social work, or related field.
• Must hold a Substance Abuse Counselor-in-Training credential (or state equivalent).
• Relevant CBT experience (12 months preferred).
• For Residential programs, valid driver's license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Provide CBT and other therapeutic services including groups per clinical standards.
• Participate in supervision sessions and communicate patient progress to updates care plans.
• Monitor effectiveness of interventions and adjust as needed in consultation with Clinical leader.
• Document mental health services per regulations and payer expectations; ensure timely records.
• Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings and assist in treatment planning.
