Job summary

Rogers Behavioral Health seeks a Behavior Specialist to support CBT interventions across treatment programs. You will assess behavior, design individualized plans, and train staff and families under clinical supervision to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities include delivering CBT services, documenting progress, coordinating with the clinical leader, and contributing to treatment plan development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required (human services, psychology, social work, or related field).
• Must hold a valid Substance Abuse Counselor‑in‑Training credential (or state equivalent).
• 12 months CBT experience preferred; experience may include clinical care, human services, or educational work.
• Must hold a current and active driver’s license (Residential programs preferred).
• CPR certification within 30 days of hire; NCI training within 60 days; RCC/CBRF training within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide cognitive behavioral and other therapeutic services including groups, per clinical standards of care.
• Participate in supervision sessions and communicate progress with the Clinical leader.
• Monitor effectiveness of interventions and adjust care plans in consultation with Clinical leader.
• Document mental health services and ensure timely, compliant medical records.
• Assist in development of treatment plans and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings.
