Job summary

Rogers Memorial Hospital, Inc. is seeking a Behavior Specialist to support CBT interventions within our treatment programs.

The role includes assessing behavior, developing individualized plans, training patients and support persons, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to monitor progress and modify plans for optimal outcomes. You will work under the Clinical leader, deliver CBT-based services, document care, and participate in team meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required (human services, psychology, social work, or related field).
• Must hold a valid Substance Abuse Counselor-in-Training credential (or state equivalent).
• Relevant Cognitive-Behavioral Treatment (CBT) experience (12 months preferred).
• Current and active driver's license (Residential programs).
• American Heart Association CPR certification within 30 days of hire and bi-annual recertification.
• NCI training within 60 days of hire and annual recertification.
• CBRF trainings within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide cognitive behavioral and other therapeutic services including groups under supervision to address patients’ needs.
• Participate in supervision sessions with Clinical leader and adjust care plans as needed.
• Monitor effectiveness of interventions and adjust based on outcomes and measures.
• Document mental health services and deliver timely records in the patient chart.
• Communicate treatment interventions to interdisciplinary team and support systems.

Education
