Job summary

Rogers Behavioral Health, Inc. is seeking a Behavior Specialist to support delivery of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy within treatment programs. You will assess behavior, develop individualized plans, provide training, and monitor progress under clinical leadership.

The role involves supervising sessions, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, and ensuring timely documentation of treatment plans and outcomes while teaching CBT strategies to patients and caregivers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in human services, psychology, social work, or related field.
• Must hold valid Substance Abuse Counselor-in-Training credential or state equivalent.
• CBT experience (12 months preferred) in clinical care or related setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide cognitive behavioral therapy and other services to patients under supervision.
• Participate in supervision sessions and communicate patient progress.
• Monitor intervention effectiveness and adjust care plans with the Clinical leader.
• Document treatment plans and outcomes in the medical record per regulations.
• Join multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to treatment planning.
• Train and support staff in CBT interventions and strategies.
• Educate patients and families on CBT techniques and positive reinforcement.
