Job summary

Energy Transfer is seeking a Corrosion Technician to apply knowledge in repairing, installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining cathodic protection systems across pipeline facilities and terminals in Texas. The role emphasizes safety, regulatory compliance, and detailed documentation.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, proficiency with MS Office, and the ability to train other technicians while maintaining a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
• Ability to train other technicians and/or sign off on qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Design, install, operate, inspect and maintain cathodic protection systems for pipeline segments.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs and regulatory requirements (OSHA, DOT, EPA, etc.).
• Conduct surveys, readings, and testing to support corrosion control and reporting.
• Review pipeline maps, PLDs, and as-builts; participate in safety and audits.
• Lead or train technicians and participate in PHMSA/state audits.
