Job summary

Methodist Southlake Medical Center is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to assist with invasive cardiovascular procedures in the cath lab. The role reports to the supervisor and physician and requires ARRT RT licensure or RCIS certification, or progress toward RCIS.

The position is PRN with Monday–Friday availability in North Texas, and requires BLS/ACLS and current state licensure. Experience in a cardiac cath lab is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist Program or approved Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Program.
• Current student in approved RCIS program.

Job Purpose

Job Requirements

Education

• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist Program or approved Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Program or
• Current student in approved cardiovascular invasive specialist (RCIS) program

Licenses and/or Certifications

• R.T. (R) through ARRT and registered with Texas Medical Board or
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist certification (RCIS)or
• RCIS obtained within 12 months of hire following graduation from approved RCIS program
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification, American Heart Association
• Advanced Cardio Life support (ACLS) Certification, American Heart Association

Work Experience

• 1 year experience in a cardiac cath lab with general understanding of cath procedures and related complication preferred.
