Job summary

Methodist Southlake Medical Center in North Texas is seeking a Radiologic Technologist or RCIS professional to assist with invasive cardiovascular procedures under supervision, with PRN hours and Monday–Friday coverage. The role requires ARRT RT(R) licensure or RCIS certification, BLS and ACLS, and prior cath lab experience is preferred.

The candidate may be a graduate or current RCIS student, with up-to-date credentials and a commitment to patient safety and high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist Program or approved Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Program
• Current student in approved cardiovascular invasive specialist (RCIS) program
• 1 year cardiac cath lab experience preferred

Job Requirements

• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist Program or approved Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Program or
• Current student in approved cardiovascular invasive specialist (RCIS) program

Licenses And/or Certifications

• R.T. (R) through ARRT and registered with Texas Medical Board or
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist certification (RCIS)or
• RCIS obtained within 12 months of hire following graduation from approved RCIS program
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification, American Heart Association
• Advanced Cardio Life support (ACLS) Certification, American Heart Association

Work Experience

• 1 year experience in a cardiac cath lab with general understanding of cath procedures and related complication preferred.
