Job summary

Methodist Southlake Medical Center is seeking a PRN Radiologic Technologist or RCIS trainee to assist with invasive cardiovascular procedures under supervision. The role supports the physician and supervisor in the cath lab across Mon-Fri scheduling.

Ideal candidates have completed an approved radiologic technologist program or RCIS program, or are currently enrolled in an RCIS program, and hold BLS/ACLS certifications. One year cath lab experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist Program or approved Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Program.
• Current student in approved RCIS program.

Job Purpose

Job Requirements

• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist Program or approved Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Program or
• Current student in approved cardiovascular invasive specialist (RCIS) program

Licenses And/or Certifications

• R.T. (R) through ARRT and registered with Texas Medical Board or
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist certification (RCIS)or
• RCIS obtained within 12 months of hire following graduation from approved RCIS program
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification, American Heart Association
• Advanced Cardio Life support (ACLS) Certification, American Heart Association

Work Experience

• 1 year experience in a cardiac cath lab with general understanding of cath procedures and related complication preferred.
