Job summary

Methodist Southlake Medical Center is seeking a Radiologic Technologist or RCIS professional to assist with invasive cardiovascular procedures in a busy cath lab.

Requirements include graduation from an approved Radiologic Technologist or RCIS program or current RCIS student, ARRT (R) and MT Texas licensure, BLS and ACLS certifications, and about 1 year of cath lab experience preferred. This is a hospital-based, on-site role in Southlake, TX.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist Program or approved Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Program or current student in approved RCIS program.
• 1 year experience in a cardiac cath lab preferred.

Job Purpose

• Assist with technical aspects of invasive cardiovascular procedures under the direction of the supervisor and physician.

Job Requirements

Education

• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist Program or approved Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Program or
• Current student in approved cardiovascular invasive specialist (RCIS) program

Licenses And/or Certifications

• R.T. (R) through ARRT and registered with Texas Medical Board or
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist certification (RCIS)or
• RCIS obtained within 12 months of hire following graduation from approved RCIS program
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification, American Heart Association
• Advanced Cardio Life support (ACLS) Certification, American Heart Association

Work Experience

• 1 year experience in a cardiac cath lab with general understanding of cath procedures and related complication preferred.
