Job summary

Methodist Southlake Medical Center in North Texas is seeking a Radiologic Technologist or RCIS to assist with technical aspects of invasive cardiovascular procedures under the supervision of the supervisor and physician.

The role is PRN with Mon-Fri days, requiring ARRT RT (R) or RCIS certification, BLS and ACLS, and at least 1 year of cath lab experience. Candidates should be graduates or students in RCIS programs and will join a team committed to high-quality patient care.

• Current student in approved RCIS program.

Job Purpose

Job Requirements

• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist Program or approved Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Program or
• Current student in approved cardiovascular invasive specialist (RCIS) program

Licenses And/or Certifications

• R.T. (R) through ARRT and registered with Texas Medical Board or
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist certification (RCIS)or
• RCIS obtained within 12 months of hire following graduation from approved RCIS program
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification, American Heart Association
• Advanced Cardio Life support (ACLS) Certification, American Heart Association

Work Experience

• 1 year experience in a cardiac cath lab with general understanding of cath procedures and related complication preferred.
