Job summary

St. David’s North Austin Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Outpatient Procedure Prep/Recovery unit in Austin. You will handle adult and geriatric nursing care, assessments, medication administration, and documentation for procedures.

You will ensure patient safety before, during, and after procedures, communicate changes to physicians, and support life-saving interventions as needed. BSN preferred and Texas RN license required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing required (ADN).
• BSN preferred by employer.

Responsibilities

• Perform admission assessment and documentation.
• Reassess patient status and document changes.
• Administer medications and monitor responses.
• Monitor patient status before, during, and after procedures.
• Communicate patient changes to physicians.
• Support management of life-threatening dysrhythmias per physician order.
