HCA Healthcare, St. David’s Medical Center in Austin seeks a Registered Nurse Special Procedures to assess, plan, and evaluate care in the right heart catheterization setting, administer meds, and collaborate with physicians to optimize patient outcomes.

You will perform perioperative assessments, maintain aseptic technique, assist clinicians, and complete required certifications (ACLS, BCLS, NIH Stroke Scale) within 30 days of start date.

Qualifications

• ACLS within 30 days of start date.
• BCLS within 30 days of start date.
• NIH Stroke Scale within 30 days of start date.
• RN Registered Nurse
• Associate Degree

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments pre, peri, and post procedure in a right heart catheterization room
• Maintain a safe, aseptic environment
• Administer medications as ordered by the physician
• Assist all personnel, patients, and physicians as needed
