Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cath Lab Pre/Post role in Houston, TX. The position requires ADN or higher and Texas RN licensure, with current BCLS and ACLS. Experience in Med/Surg and diagnostic procedures is preferred.

Qualifications

Texas RN licensure required and must hold ADN or higher.
Experience in Cath Lab procedures and sterile technique.
Current BCLS & ACLS.
Have 2 years of Med/Surg or diagnostic testing areas (Endo, Dialysis, PACU/Recovery, Day Surgery, Critical Care, Special Procedures Radiology).
Hemodynamic and EKG/telemetry experience preferred.
Conscious Sedation administration a plus.

Responsibilities

Operates Axiom Artis Hemodynamic system and supports cath lab procedures.
Sets up and maintains equipment for each procedure.
Maintains sterility and patient safety during procedures, including IV sedation.
Cares for pre- and post Cath Lab patients.
Functions as table operator, scrub person, circulator, or monitor tech as needed.
Monitors patient recovery until baseline and alert.
