Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Cath Lab professional to assist cardiologists in invasive diagnostic and interventional procedures, with strong hemodynamic knowledge and aseptic technique. The role involves setup of imaging equipment, patient monitoring, and collaboration with the care team to ensure safety and quality.

The ideal candidate holds radiologic technology certification, BLS, ACLS within 1 year, and ARRT radiography registration.

BLS Provider by AHA
Licensed Radiologic Technologist - Radiography
ACLS within 1 year - AHA
Registered in Radiography (ARRT)

Responsibilities

Assist cardiologists in invasive coronary/vascular/EP diagnostic/therapeutic procedures; set up and operate electrical/imaging equipment.
Knowledge of hemodynamic concepts, cardiac anatomy and physiology, and equipment used in cardiovascular procedures.
Experience with moderate sedation administration and policy protocols; EP concepts and fluoroscopic anatomy knowledge.
Maintain aseptic technique and prepare sterile field; ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
Educate patients during procedures; collaborate with Research RN/Coordinator for lab-based studies.
Coordinate with team and vendors to ensure safety and optimal outcomes; participate in data collection for process improvements.
