Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Cath Lab professional to assist cardiologists during invasive diagnostic and interventional cardiac/vascular and EP procedures. Responsibilities include setting up and operating imaging equipment, monitoring hemodynamics, and ensuring aseptic technique and patient safety throughout procedures.

The role requires BLS, ACLS within 1 year, ARRT radiography registration, and radiologic technology certification.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider per American Heart Association.
• ACLS certification within 1 year of hire.
• ARRT radiography registration.
• Radiologic Technology certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Assist cardiologists in invasive coronary/vascular/EP procedures.
• Set up and operate electrical/imaging equipment and computers.
• Manage sterile technique and aseptic setup for procedures.
• Monitor and interpret hemodynamic data and EKG during procedures.
• Communicate with patients to alleviate anxiety and ensure safety.
• Collaborate with team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
