Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to support the Cath Lab team in performing invasive cardiovascular and EP procedures. The role involves setting up sterile fields, operating imaging and monitoring equipment, and assisting cardiologists with specialized interventions.

The ideal candidate will have a Radiologic Technology certificate, BLS, ACLS within 1 year, ARRT licensure, and demonstrated knowledge of hemodynamics and EP concepts.

Qualifications

• Assist cardiologists in invasive coronary/vascular/EP procedures using specialized techniques.
• Set up and operate electrical/imaging equipment and computers.
• Knowledge of hemodynamic concepts and cardiac physiology relevant to procedures.
• Knowledge of EP concepts, fluoroscopic anatomy and related procedures.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout complex cardiovascular interventions.

Responsibilities

• Assist in coronary invasive procedures in the Cath Lab.
• Set up sterile field and assist with equipment preparation.
• Monitor patient during procedures and ensure accurate documentation.
• Maintain equipment and ensure safety and sterilization standards.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to optimize patient outcomes.
