Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Cath Lab professional to assist physicians in invasive cardiac/vascular procedures and to operate specialized imaging equipment. The role involves patient monitoring, aseptic technique, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Certification in Radiologic Technology required.
• BLS, ACLS and ARRT radiography credentials needed.
• Experience in cath lab or interventional procedures preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist cardiologists in invasive coronary/vascular/EP procedures.
• Set up and operate imaging and electrical equipment.
• Monitor patient during procedures and ensure aseptic technique.
• Interpret basic EKGs and alert physicians to abnormalities.
• Educate patients and coordinate with team for optimal outcomes.
