Job summary

Carle Health seeks a Radiologic Technologist to assist cardiologists during invasive cardiac/vascular and EP procedures, with responsibilities for hemodynamic monitoring and interpretation using automated techniques. You will provide patient care, setup sterile equipment, and ensure safety and accuracy throughout interventions.

The role requires ARRT certification and BLS/ACLS, with strong communication and teamwork skills to support optimal patient outcomes in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Qualifications

• Certificate of Completion in Radiologic Technology required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and ACLS within 1 year.
• ARRT registered radiography credentials.

Responsibilities

• Assist cardiologists in invasive coronary/vascular/EP procedures and manage imaging equipment.
• Set up sterile field and monitor patient hemodynamics during procedures.
• Perform EKG interpretation and correlate with procedure findings.
• Prepare and drape patients and ensure aseptic technique throughout procedures.
• Communicate with team and patients to alleviate anxiety and ensure safety.
• Troubleshoot equipment and manage data/documentation of procedures.
• Collaborate with vendors and research staff for equipment and process improvements.
• Maintain knowledge of radiation safety and equipment operation.
